Following the DIVEDCO tradition of fomenting traditional Christmas programs, especially in the Island’s rural towns, this instruction booklet of sorts sets out a detailed plan of how to prepare a communal representation of the biblical story of the Flight to Egypt from the Gospel of Matthew. René Marqués provides an adaptation of this story that tells of how, soon after the visit by the three Magi, an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream telling him that King Herod intended to kill the infant Jesus and advising him to flee to Egypt with his wife and child.
